Scent Intensity Scale:
Significant
What is the scent
intensity scale?
The scent intensity scale was created by our Nose to rank the intensity of each fragrance based on both the projection (i.e. how faint or strong the scent is) and longevity (i.e. how long the scent is detectable on the skin).
Soft
Delicate, lighter scents that will entice your senses, without overpowering them.
Significant:
Captivating scents that stay present on the skin, but won’t overwhelm the room.
Statement
Bold, head-turning fragrances. Stand out from the crowd with every spritz.

Free shipping with 2+ itemsOud - also named Agarwood - is one of the most exclusive raw materials in perfumery, coming from a tropical evergreen tree called the Agar tree. When certain fungi grow on this tree, the tree naturally responds by releasing a resin which gives rise to the formation of resinous heartwood, known as Oud. Mainly used in the Middle East, Oud contributes mesmerizingly deep, warm, spicy, leathery, balsamic, and woody notes.
Mysterious and intense, Fougere Oud (inspired by Tom Ford's Oud Wood) offers a twist of Orient with a traditional masculine fragrance structure named "fougere" (a blend of citrus, geranium, and patchouli notes).
They are designed to be very long lasting, just like designer fragrances, in some cases even longer, depending on the composition.

It smells awesome and same as designer perfume. I will be ordering more from dossier. You can get more fragrances with the one price of designer perfume.

As a scent this is a 5/5. As a dupe for Tom Ford Oud Wood, it’s a 3.5/5. I bought this for my fiancé who has the original TF Oud Wood and we both prefer the Dossier version. The opening is closer to the original, but the dry down is very different. Fougere Oud is brighter with more green/pine notes on the surface and woody notes in the background. It smells fresher and sweeter while still having a grounded woody base whereas TF is drier and heavier and I can only smell wood after the dry down. I’d say it’s about 80-85% similar. Nonetheless, it smells amazing and can be worn at any time, in any season, and on any occasion.

I bought this having never smelled the original, with no idea of what "fougere" meant and having never smelt oud. In light of that, it's a nice fragrance that makes me happy to wear! And it lasts for a long time on my skin.

This is a unisex fragrance in the best way. I normally don't like flowery super girly fragrances so I'm always trying to find scents that aren't too feminine but also not to masculine. This is it.
