Green is a generic term for notes that evoke snapped leaves, foliage, vegetal scents and freshly cut grass

Directly inspired by nature, green notes convey a deep feeling of freshness and oudoor in a fragrance. Generally used as an inflexion in a fragrance - hardly as the strong dominant - they play a key role in Pleasures by Estée Lauder, and a smaller one but not negligible in Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet .
